【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationestablishesthecriteriaforthemanufacture,qualityassurancetesting,inspection,installation,fieldacceptancetesting,andproductmarkingofvitrifiedclaypipetobeusedinmicrotunneling,pilottubemicrotunneling,sliplining,pipebursting,andincasingsandtunnelsfortheconveyanceofsewage,industrialwastes,andstormwater.1.1.1Sections3through7and9ofthisspecificationcontainmanufacturing,qualityassurancetesting,inspection,andproductmarkingcriteriawhichareapplicabletovitrifiedclaypipepriortoinstallation.1.1.2Section8ofthisspecificationcontainscriteriafortheinstallationandfieldacceptancetestingofvitrifiedclaypipe.1.2Thisspecificationalsocoversmaterialsandtestrequirementsforjointingofthepipe.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
