【摘要】:1.1ThisspecificationcoverstheperformancerequirementsofCPVCpipe,fittingsandsolventcementsusedinchemicalwastedrainagesystems.1.2Asystemismadeupofpipe,fittingsandsolventcementthatmeettherequirementsofthisstandard.Note18212;Consultthemanufacturerx2019;schemicalresistancerecommendationsforchemicalwastedrainageapplicationspriortouse.1.3Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotesandappendicesthatprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.1.4Thepressuretestsdescribedinthisstandardarelaboratoryhydrostaticteststhatareintendedtoverifyjoint/systemintegrity.Theyarenotintendedforuseasfieldtestsofinstalledsystems.1.5Duetoinherenthazardsassociatedwithtestingcomponentsandsystemswithcompressedairorothercompressedgases,nosuchtestingshallbedoneunlessthecomponentmanufacturergivesapprovalinwriting.Note28212;Pressurized(compressed)airorothercompressedgasescontainlargeamountsofstoredenergy,whichpresentserioussafetyhazardsshouldasystemfailforanyreason.1.6Mechanicaljointsusedforjoiningpipeandfittingsofdifferentmaterialsareprovidedforinthisspecification.Theyincludecommonflanges,couplings,andunions.1.7Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note38212;Thisspecificationspecifiesdimensional,performance,andtestrequirementsforfluidhandlingapplicationsbutdoesnotaddressventingofcombustiongases.
