【摘要】:Thisisnotaroutinetest.Thevaluesrecordedareapplicableonlytothepipebeingtestedandatthetimeoftesting.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresfortestinginstallednon-perforated,gasketedcorrugatedhigh-densitypolyethylene(HDPE)pipelinesusingeitherwaterinfiltrationorexfiltrationacceptancelimitstodemonstratetheintegrityviathelevelofleakageoftheinstalledmaterials,constructionproceduresandinstallationqualityviathelevelofleakage.PipetobetestedunderthispracticeshallincludecorrugatedHDPEdrainagepipemeetingtherequirementsofAASHTOM252,AASHTOM294andSpecificationF2306/F2306M.Note1Theperformancecriteriaspecifiedinthisstandardmaybeusedforotherplasticpipeproducts.Theengineer,however,mustassessifthetestingproceduresareadequatefortheparticularmaterialandinstallationbeingconsidered.Note2Theuserofthispracticeisadvisedthattestcriteriapresentedinthispracticearesimilartothoseingeneraluse.Pipe,600-mm(24-in.)diameterorlarger,maybeacceptedbyvisualinspectionwhentestingforinfiltration.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-pounds,whichareprovidedforinformationalpurposesonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thistestmethodshallbeperformedonlinesafterallconnectionsandservicelateralshavebeenpluggedandbracedadequatelytowithstandthetestpressures.Thetimebetweencompletionofthebackfilloperationsandtestingshallbespecifiedbytheapprovingauthority.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Thetestingrequiredunderthisstandardnecessitatesoperatinginconfinedspaces.TheusermustinsurethatallOSHAandlocalsafetycodesaredulyobserved.
